Monday Business Update

I think one of the biggest problems that many business people have including me is suffering from too many ideas and lack of execution to make things happen. 

Today, I have been working, following up with leads, and sending finished work to clients. However, all I can think about is new business ideas of things which I want to do. I think this is part of the problem that I have.

I have too many ideas, I lack focus and my ability to just focus on more than 3 ideas is weak at best.

How I am going to change


  • Focus on less business ideas but deliver on execution
  • Only work on 1-3 business ideas at a time 
  • Be extremely focused to deliver results 
  • Not get scatter brained
I sent an invoice to one client today and I hope this client can pay as soon as possible, as this would generate cashflow for my business. 

I also send one cold enquiry to a fashion wholesaler - I am hopeful they will respond but I know realistically I need to be sending more cold emails in order to get results. 

I spent the majority of the day doing client work, writing marketing blogs for my company's site and putting more energy into my fashion blog that I plan to make revenue off advertising.

Wednesday Business Update

My stress levels have gone up in the past two days - doing business is hard work, don't let Instagram tell you any different - One client wants to pause upcoming work Another potential client is interested in working with me  Another client has totally unrealistic demands for a particular project so I have to deal with his expectations I am learning quickly that you need to have boundaries with clients. Of course it is wonderful to have tonnes of clients for a B2B business but not at the expense of my health and my view of what good work is.  On the consumer side, things are churning along as well.  I think I could have made more of an effort in the beginning of the week to look for more projects. I am prospecting every day but not enough.
